Dr. William Emper graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1981. Dr. Emper completed a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Emper has five offices in Pennsylvania.
Specializing in the field of Orthopedic Surgery, Dr. Emper is prepared to treat a wide range of injuries to the musculoskeletal system, which includes the bones, joints, muscles, ligaments and tendons, in either a non-surgical or surgical manner, resorting to surgery when all other treatment methods have been exhausted or ruled out. Additionally, Dr. Emper is trained to diagnose a range of musculoskeletal conditions, such as fractures or sprains. Dr. Emper is also trained to practice Sports Medicine and Hand Surgery.
